A Personal Letter from Nita Johnson
December 20, 2012
Dear friends and colleagues.
The greatest Man of wisdom who ever lived once said, Do not let your hearts be troubled, you believe in God, trust in Me. I will not leave you as orphans (comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn or helpless). I will come back to you! If you keep my commandments you will abide in my love! These are wonderful words, and to think that they come from our King and magnificent Lord!
Whatever your state today, He came into the world for you. He said He would never leave you nor forsake you. Therefore, the world must not own you! You are His, bought with a great price. If something was taken this year that was very valuable to you, let it go. Understand that there is greatness in His plan and will, not yours. His agenda can make your pools of sorrow transform into joy. He is your Friend, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Ruler of the world. His hand is under the sparrow, and under you. His divine eyes look out for you. Sorrow, sadness, and suffering will burst forth into praise as you wait upon Him, your able and compassionate Lord!
Regardless of yesterday, in hope and expectation turn to Him today. He is your Love, your Life, and your Hope. Nothing can harm you while abiding in Him!
Our staff and co-laborers have increased dramatically this year. We are deeply thankful to those who sacrificially walk with us. Around 150 people are in some form of leadership in our ministry. They operate under the head leadership of Ricci Wilson, my daughter and Executive Director of the ministry, and Don and Lin Warner, our co-Ministry Directors.
We are bulging at the seams with hope and expectation over what God is doing. I am also excited that a large swath of these people are Chinese. Dr. Jin Hong and Li Adrian head that arm of our ministry. They are diligently looking for ways to make the paths of our Chinese brothers and sisters more fruitful in Jesus.
I bless all of you in Jesus’ name, that Name that is above every name, and to whom every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and He will deliver you from every evil thing that seeks to exalt itself above the knowledge of God. We bless your coming in and your going out. Christ is Lord and may He be your Lord in an ever-increasing way in the new year. We bless your families with the blessing from God who reigns in the heavens and on the earth. So be it, Amen!
Please keep our new ministry to the poor which we have named "Love N’ Hope Int’l." in your prayers. Prayerfully consider the possibility of giving to their needs by year’s end as you enjoy your own blessings. When you give to the poor you lend to the Lord. He will not let you out-give Him.
As America slips and stumbles, Jesus is drawing near to help us out of our self-made crises. He will honor your endeavors to hold America in the arms of prayer. He will answer our pleas. Do not grow discouraged or fearful. As He tenderly said to Ricci the night of the election, "Ricci, I am still on the Throne!" He reigns and rules, and there is none like Him. Therefore be blessed in your love and service for our King. Whether you celebrate Christmas or the biblical Feast as I do, be blessed in our Savior who loves you with an everlasting love. The Lord reigns, and He reigns in glory. With our deepest love and appreciation wither you work with us, partner with us with prayer and giving or you simply love us, we wish you a wonderful holiday season.
In His glorious love,
Nita Johnson and the WFJM staff
